School-Based Services
Newport Counseling Center offers School-Based Counseling Services at the following schools in Perry County:
Newport School District--Middle and High Schools only
Greenwood School District--all grade levels
Therapy sessions take place in a private room provided by the school and furnished by Newport Counseling Center. Students receive the same confidential services at the school site as they would at the main office. School satellite offices eliminates children having to be taken out of school or parents having to miss work for therapy appointments while still meeting the needs of the population being served.
Newport Middle/High School
Greenwood
The therapy room is located in the Elementary school and Middle/High School students are given passes to come to the space.
